Our language does not directly unite people through sympathetic waves; it is only a form of conditional code or cipher. When we experience an emotion, we have to ‘find’ the most appropriate words, meaning we must translate the reality of direct experience into this ciphered language. The person who receives this cipher then has to reverse this process, but there is no definitive key to this code—only some general guidelines.
